The integration between HonestBox and Fortnox automates the transfer of accounting data on a daily basis. Every night, HonestBox automatically downloads yesterday's accounting data and transfers it to Fortnox. This ensures that accounting information is always up-to-date and available in Fortnox without manual management.
Account details
For accounting to work both to Fortnox or via SIE file, all your account details must be completed and match the accounts in Fortnox.
- Go to Settings/Settings.
- Scroll down to Accounting.
- Fill in all your account numbers.
- Save
Get started with Fortnox
Your Fortnox system must be prepared to receive the accounting. See below.
- Start by checking that you are a system administrator in Fortnox
- Make sure you have activated the license for integration. If you haven't, do the following: go to Administer users/Order more programs
- Find Integration and Activate
If you need help with Fortnox, contact their support.
When everything is ready in Fortnox, go to HonestBox admin and follow the steps below.
Go to Settings/Settings.
Scroll down to Accounting.
Select "activate connection to Fortnox". Follow the guide shown at Fortnox.
Test.
Good to know
For new customers, no SIE import is required, as long as you have not had any sales, just activate the integration to get started. For existing customers, it is necessary to manually extract the accounting data up to the day before the integration was activated to ensure that all historical data is correctly transferred.
Use the 'Test creating a voucher in Fortnox' button to create a fake voucher in Fortnox. Don't forget to delete the voucher in Fortnox after you have tested.
Important information about your Fortnox system
1) To use the integration, the 'integration' license must be activated in Fortnox.
2) The integration must be activated by the system administrator.
Tips
Create a webhook to receive email in case something goes wrong.
Common error messages
"The verification series is not manual (X)."
A message explaining that a verification series is not manual is displayed. This is because that particular verification series is not activated for manual posting. This is something that must be adjusted in Fortnox. Settings / Accounting / Verification series. Note. The selected verification series may be incorrect. Check with those who help you with accounting and feel free to check with Fortnox to make sure you are doing the right thing.
