Tags already activated upon delivery
When you receive a kit with tag reader and tags, the tags are activated. So when they are flashed in the tag reader, the person will be identified and the lock will open.
Unique users
A tag is not intended to be linked to an existing user. So a user who has previously logged in with BankId is not intended to have a tag linked to them. So a user who logs in with BankId - only logs in with BankId. A user who logs in with SMS - only logs in with SMS. And a user who logs in with tag - only logs in with tag. That's the basic idea.
Enter the name of a person who will use a tag
As mentioned, the tags are activated upon delivery. However, it is a good idea to enter the details of the person who will use the tag. It is therefore possible to enter a name and other personal information for the tag user in HonestBox.
- Start by scanning a tag on the reader at the door
- In HonestBox Admin, look under the heading in the menu "Logs" --> "All"
- Make sure the time range is correct, type "ID:" in the search field and at least one record will be displayed.
- Copy the ID number you see for your current tag. (A long number e.g. 1234567890
- Go to User Management --> Users. Search for the user and use that number. Click on the user in the search results
- You can now enter any information under Name. For example, the name of the user who will use the tag. Also a phone number or more to easily know who is using the tag.
- Save
- Now the name will be visible in for example the security log in plain text when the tag is used. You can also search for the person's name or the information you just entered.
